spots- our image of ourselves must align with
our real identity – When we know ourselves,
including our flaws, we can begin to grow to

Paul shows how wide diversity of gifts assures
unity in the church. Each gift contributes
something necessary to the common life and
growth of the whole. – There is no room for
pride and no need to feel inferior in the
body of Christ, - for each individual is
essential to the proper function of the body.
