Minister: Dearly beloved, we are all-gathered here in the presence of God
and of His people to join (Bro. Joemari Solmeron and Sis. Maria Isabel
Bertos) in the holy estate of matrimony. Marriage is an honourable estate,
instituted of God. It signifies the mystical union that is between Christ and
His church, which Christ adorned and sanctified with His holy presence.
Christ wrought his first miracle during a wedding in Canaan of Galilee, in
Judea. He commands marriage as scripturally honorable; therefore, in
anyway no one should enter into it lightly, but reverently and soberly, and in
the fear of God. God ordained marriage for the mutual company, help, and
comfort of man and woman, both in prosperity and adversity. Into this holy
estate, Bro, Jay and Sis. Mabel come now to be joined. Let us all pray!

her, so long as you both shall live?

MINISTER: (Holding the wedding ring/s) The wedding ring is the outward
and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond that unites two loyal hearts
in love. The Minister gives the ring to the Groom.
GROOM: (holding the Bride’s hand) with this ring I marry you, in the Name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
BRIDE: (Holding the Groom’s hand) with this ring I marry you, in the Name

2. THE GIVING OF ARRHAE (Coins) (Ptr. Paul Kim)
Minister: These Coins are the symbol of the union of your faith with each
other when it comes to material and financial aspects.
Husband: I promise to supply your needs and of our family. That I will do
my best with all I can, to give it willfully; with all my heart for the
betterment of our family.
Wife: I promise to take care of our finances responsibly to ensure a smooth
governance of our assets and expenses. I also promise to give to the Lord
what is due unto Him.
3. VEIL (Oneness Of Marriage) (Ptr. Cornelio Sacramento)
(Kneeling), Let us call on the bearer of the Veil and Cord.
MINISTER: By placing the veil over the head of the woman and on the
shoulder of the man, we are affirming the Biblical principle of headship of
the man. As we read in the Bible, the woman was taken from man’s side

and not from his head to rule the man. Not from his feet to be trampled
upon by him but by his side, to be a helpmeet and a support to him; from
under his arms to be protected by him; and near his heart to be loved and
cherished by him.
4. CORD (Unbreakable Bond Of Marriage) (Ptr. Paul Kim)
MINISTER: The cord symbolizes that marriage is a lifelong and unbreakable
bond. By tying these two people together, we are affirming the Biblical
teaching that God intended for marriage to last a lifetime.

Word of God is the firm and sure foundation for the home. As the husband
gives the Bible to his wife, he pledges that the Word of God will be the rule
and guide, the final authority and foundation stone of their marriage.
I Corinthians 13;13 KJV “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three,
but the greatest of these is charity.”
Gen. 2:24 KJV “Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and
shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.”
