of the acts and scenes of Midsummer Night’s Dream as we re-imagine them as
they might unfold on social media. Choose at least one of the characters to
focus on. Let that character ‘post a status’ about the most intriguing event in
this part of the play. let other characters comment about the ‘post’ again basing
it on has what transpired the play. Make sure to use the social media poster
template to make your editing easier.

ACT III SCENE II: ANALYZING LITERATURE

1. Why did Hermia accuse Demetrius ?

Answer:
Because her darling Lysander has mysteriously disappeared, Hermia accuses Demetrius of
murdering him and hiding the body. Demetrius insists that he didn't kill his enemy, but Hermia refuses
to believe him.

2. How were Puck and Oberon given correction on their wrong doing?
Answer:
They will fix their mistake by Puck tricking Helena to come there, and then Oberon would charm
Demetrius' eyes. So when he awoke he would see Helena first.

3. Why was Helena disturbed so much when Demetrius said he loves her? Did she expect that from
Demetrius?
4
Answer:
When Lysander showers Helena with oaths of love, she thinks he is mocking her because she
chases Demetrius. Then, after Puck and Oberon figure out the mistake, Demetrius gets the love
potion on his eyes. This is why Helena is angry at Hermia. She believes that all three of them are now
making fun of her.

REVIEWING THE SELECTION

Select a quote in this Act 4 and connect the relationship to one of the themes: Love and Marriage, Obedience , Illusion or
reality.
Now I do wish it, love it, long for it,
And will for evermore be true to it.

This quotes in Act 4 tell us that he show how much he love and to be true to his feelings. It’s all
about love he wish that he should love and long for it forever he is pure. If you feel longing or a
longing for something, you have a rather sad feeling because you want it very much.  Wish is a
desire or strong feeling that you want to have something or do something. I long for you means I
desire you or want you or miss you. I short for you is simply a joke, using the opposite of long in the
first statement. Loving others also allows you to open yourself up to another person, and discover
your inner capacity for pure, unconditional love. Expressing your love and affection motivates them
to continue doing the same for you.

ACT IV, SCENE I

1. How did Bottom adjust to the attention of Titania and her fairies?
Answer:
He enjoys the attension and stoppped questioning why the fairies and Titania were pampering
him. With
Titania Bottom is confused because she is confessing a love for him. With the faires he wants
to get
to know them. Bottom says, "reason and love keep little company together nowadays."

2. What is Oberon’s reaction to Titania’s infatuation with Bottom?

Answer:
Oberon laughed and thought that it was very funny that she fell inlove with an ass and He has
pity for her because she's in love with a donkey.

3. Why are Theseus, Hippolyta, Egeus, and the others out in the woods so early in the morning?
Answer:
They were all hunting in the woods before the wedding. Theseus decided to wed all of them on
his wedding day so that they would all be happy. They are on a fox hunt, but they were also
kind of searching for the lovers since they had been gone for a long time.

4. What explanation does Demetrius make? Why does he compare his love for Hermia to an
illness?
Answer:
He said that he heard of Hermia and Lysander's plan and followed them into the forest. He
compared his
love for Hermia to an illness because after the short period of time that he loved her, he grew
tired of her
5
and started to loathe her.

ACT IV, SCENE II

1. What opinion do the other artisans now have of Bottom since they think he is lost?
Answer:
They all agree that Bottom was the best out of all of them and They think the play will not be as good
without him.

2. What do they most regret losing by not being able to perform the play?
Answer:
If he come not, then the play is marred. Bottom plays the most important part of the play. They most
regret losing the money.

3.Why must the artisans hurry to the Duke’s palace?

Answer:
They must hurry because the Duke has had his dinner already and will be wanting entertainment
soon.

Assessment #1

1. What are the characters desirable and undesirable attitudes? Explain why?
Answer:
Attitudes have a powerful influence on behavior conditioning can be used to
strengthen desirable attitudes and weaken undesirable ones. Characters desirable attitudes
they are real. Highly desirable people, treat people with respect, they love people, they work
to make a difference and they value their support system. People with a negative attitude
ignore the good and pay attention to the bad in people, situations, events, etc. For
example, when a guy has so much power, wealth, and influence with great luck; but still
complains and goes on a rant; well, that person has a negative attitude.

Assessment #2

1. What are the characters duties and responsibilitties?

Answer:
Responsibility is being accountable for one's actions and to know and follow various rules,
laws, and conduct codes. Responsible citizens treat others fairly, are trustworthy, honor their
commitments, and are environmentally aware. If we categorize character types by the role they
play in a narrative, we can hone in on seven distinct varieties, the protagonist, the antagonist,
the love interest, the confidant, deuteragonists, tertiary characters, and the foil.

Assessment #3

1. What is the best role of the character that young ones can do today?
Answer:
Character role refers to the part that one plays in the story. As you probably know, the most
important role in any story is the protagonist. This means all other roles stem from their
relationship to the protagonist. The youth of today look to the parents to be strong role models
in their lives. This "role model" is the mother who constantly encourages you to attend school
because she loves you enough to motivate you to strive in the pursuit of excellence. They with

6
a fresh energy can perform better and ensure the growth of Youth also need to take care of
old ones who are now going to be.

2. Create a diagram or flow chart of the four pairs of lovers and explain how changes throughout
the play to the final pairings. Be creative in doing it.

Oberon and Titania Theseus and Hippolyta

Demetrius and Helena Lysander and Hermia

7
Oberon and Titania are the royalty of the play. Oberon is the fairy king and Titania is the fairy queen.
Throughout much of the play, the couple is bickering over a young changeling boy that Titania wants
to keep as her own, while her husband wants to enlist him as a private page. The relationship
between Theseus and Hippolyta is one that was created out of force. Theseus defeated the
Amazons, a society ruled by women, and took their queen, Hippolyta, as his wife. Helena is totally in
love with Demetrius, but he only has eyes for Hermia. In fact he tells Helena he hates her. Helena lets
a man get in the way of her friendship with Hermia. She tells Demetrius about Hermia's secret plan to
run away. Lysander's relationship with Hermia invokes the theme of love's difficulty: he cannot marry
her openly because Egeus, her father, wishes her to wed Demetrius; when Lysander and Hermia run
away into the forest, Lysander becomes the victim of misapplied magic and wakes up in love with
Helena.
