Assalamualaikum Wr. Wb.

The honorable to all of the judges

The Excellency to all of the audience

Hello I’m Aqilla... And ... We're from Health Vocational School Aditapa Madiun

May I tell you, first of all how pleased I’m to have an opportunity to stand here and deliver a speech in
front of you.

Ladies And Gentleman,

Have you ever imagined how an industry develops? In the past they only relied on human labor in
making or producing goods, but now goods or products are mass produced only with the help of
machines and technology. The use of technology in terms of production is currently better known as the
industrial revolution 4.0..

This Industrial Revolution has brought changes in various aspects of human life. Such as economic, work,
to educational aspects. The impact given by the industrial revolution 4.0 indirectly requires people to
adapt and make habits, especially in the world of education. So, based on the above conditions, I would
like to discuss about the change of education in industrial revolution 4.O in every positive and negative
way.

Ladies and gentleman,

Before, I start to explain the changes of education in industrial revolution 4.O. First, I would like to
explain about what the industrial revolution 4.O is. We often hear the term "Industrial Revolution 4.0", a
term that emerged and was popularized recently when the world community entered the new
millennium era of civilization history. Many people actually still don't understand what the 4.0 industrial
revolution is and its influence on the world of education in Indonesia.

Industry 4.0 is commonly known as cyber physical system, because it is a collaboration between cyber
and automation technology. So that the internet of things is able to transform data without being
limited by space and time.

According to Kagermann et al (2013) that Industry is the integration of Cyber Physical System (CPS) and
Internet of Things and Services (IoT and IoS) into industrial processes including manufacturing and
logistics as well as other processes. So, in short, the industrial revolution is a time when human work in
various fields is being replaced by machines.

The development of the industrial revolution 4.0 era certainly has an impact on the world of education.
The era of the industrial revolution 4.0 has changed the way of thinking about education. The changes
made are not only in the way of teaching, but the most important thing is a change in the perspective of
the concept of education itself. Therefore, curriculum development for current and future must
complement students' abilities in pedagogic dimensions, life skills, the ability to live together
(collaboration), and think critically and creatively. soft skills and transversal skills, as well as invisible
skills that are useful in many work situations such as interpersonal skills, living together, the ability to be
a global developing citizen, and media and information literacy.

Then, the industrial revolution 4.0 for the world of education has both positive and negative impacts.
The positive impact is that it makes it easier to get information and transform, and triggers having
special skills in innovative communication. The negative impact for disadvantaged areas that have not
been reached by the internet must be missing information, transformation, etc. Therefore, it is
necessary to have an even distribution of communication support infrastructure development in all
regions of Indonesia.

So, the industrial revolution does not always have a positive or negative impact, but according to how
we react to it. If we use it well and positively, then we will also get a good impact on ourselves. On the
other hand, if we use it arbitrarily, it will harm ourselves.
And the last is some of the impacts of the industrial revolution that affect educational life today. Let's
start with the positives first, shall we? Namely, first, education and various information can be more
easily accessed with the latest technological innovations. Second, the gradual evolution of technology
and innovation leads to new educational disciplines, leading to more room for better opportunities.
Third, Due to the continuous development of technology, online social media, such as, Twitter, LinkedIn,
Facebook etc. are becoming more and more active. Everyone can express or see their views on events or
events in front of the outside world through this social media platform. And there are many more
positive impacts. While the negative impacts of this revolution are, first, excessive dependence on
technology reduces the desire of humans to use their own intelligence and physical strength. second,
social media increases the distance between a person and his family members as well as physical
society. The virtual world is becoming more preferable to the physical world and creating social media.
Third, social media is not always helpful because it is a medium for spreading news, some or many of
which are wrong; Fake news is a nuisance.
