1. Based on your own experience of doing research, what is your idea about sampling?
In conducting a study, all parts of a research have their respective
important roles to play—and one of those is the sampling. Based on my own experience of doing a research during my high school years, I defined sampling as the selection of individuals, units, and/or settings to be studied. It is a process used in statistical analysis in which a predetermined number of observations are taken from a larger population. Sample refers to the group from which the data have to be collected in a research study. Sampling plays a very essential role in conducting a research, as it is one of the most important factors which determine the accuracy of a research/ survey result.
2. How did you get the sample?
When we conduct a research study during our senior high school
years, we get the sample by following these steps. First, we identify the population. Second, we specified a sampling frame. Third, we specified a sampling method. Fourth, we determined the sample size. And lastly, we implement the plan.

I have shared my answer with a learning partner and we arrived at the
same consensus. After discussing, we almost have the same definition of sampling and when we conduct the research during our high school years, we also follow the same steps in getting the sample.
