You cannot take a taxi home. Please bring a driver. "Wear loose comfortable clothing. A dark pair of sunglasses should be worn for the day of surgery and the first few days after when outside. **Nothing to eat or drink after midnight the night before. “"Take all blood pressure and heart medications at least 2 hours prior with a sip of water. DO NOT take any diabetic or diuretic medications. “*An eye shield will be provided by the surgical center for you to wear at bedtime only, but you will need to pick up surgical tape to use with the eye shield - this can be found at any Shoppers Drug Mart.
