Install driven plate on top gear shaft splines and
check the amount of wear at circumference of
driven plate.

Pressure plate assembly

Check the cover for cracks and
distortion,diaphragm spring for heat distortion
bending and loose rivets,and wire ring fir wear.

Measurement of clamping force

Invert the pressure plate and position a 8mm
thickplate over the pressure plate and conpress
then take reading of the load gauge when the
specified distance of A is obtained
