WORK DONE REPORT / ACTIVITY RECORD

1 Received service water cooling pump at AOTC Ghala workshop.

2 Carried out initial inspection of pump.

3 Dismantled discharge flange / motor stool from top coloum.

4 Removed suction bellmouth and dismantlled pump impeller from shaft.

5 Dismantled both shafts and carried out dismantling of all line bearings from housings.

Performed dimensional inspection and Runout check on both shafts and inspected impeller to casing wear ring

clearance.

7 Carried out sweep blasting on scution bell mouth and pickling on suction cone & top coloum.

8 Applied belzona on wear ring seat of suction bell mouth and machined to required dimension.

Carried out repair welding on suction bell mouth, impeller, suction cone and coloum with approved welding

procedure.
Removed old wear ring from suction bell mouth and installed new wear ring. After installation carried out

machining on wear ring to achieve required clearance.
Carried out Die Penetrant testing on all weld areas of impeller, suction bell mouth, suction cone & top coloum

to ensure the weld areas are free form defects.

12 Carried out Hydrotest of bearing housing cooling jacket and float valve.

13 Carried out machining of suction cone, suction bell mouth and top coloum spigot areas.

14 Carried out refurbishment of both shafts by thermal spray process.

15 Carried out blasting and painting of motor stool as per GE requirement.

16 Applied belzona coating inside the motor stool as per requirement.

17 Performed dynamic balancing of impeller as per GE specifications.

18 Replaced all line bearings, fasteners, gland packing, keys, coupling as per GE recommendations

19 Carried out final assembly of SCW pump with GE supervision.
