WRITING TASK 1

The main differences in the distribution to access to the hospital in 2007 and 2010 can
be found in the position of the public car park, the staff car park and the location of the
bus stop.

In my opinion, the distribution of the City Hospital in 2007 seems to make easier the
access to the hospital, putting the bus stop practically at the entry of the hospital and
not as far as it is located in 2010. This could be a disadvantage for citizens who use
public transport, because if they have some emergency situation in 2010 they need to
cross one roundabout to arrive to the hospital.

For the other hand, the location of the public car park seems more complicated to
access for citizens in the map of 2010, because is located next to the hospital but
without easy access to the city road, instead of the distribution of 2007, where the
public car park was located practically next to the city road. However, in 2010, they put
the staff car park next to the city road, which I think that could be better put the public
car park in that position.

In conclusion, we can see that in 2007 the access to the hospital for citizens were
easier than in 2010, we can conclude that in 2010 they were more worried about the
car circulation than the circulation of walking citizens.
