TEACHER’S INSTRUCTIONS
Task 1
Tell students that they will discuss some pictures in pairs. Show them the pictures and say:

Here are some pictures that show different things to do in your free time.

Then, say: Do you like these different things to do in your free time? Say why or why not. I’ll say that again.

Do you like these different things to do in your free time? Say why or why not.

All right? Now, talk together.

Allow students a minimum of 1 minute (maximum 2 minutes) to discuss the pictures. Then move on to Task 2.

Task 2
Ask Student B: Do you prefer to go on holiday to a different country or stay in your own country? (Why?)

Then ask Student A: What about you? Do you prefer to go on holiday to a different country or stay in your
own country? (Why?)

Ask Student A: Which place would you like to go to on holiday in the future? (Why?)

Then ask Student B: Which place would you like to go to on holiday in the future? (Why?)

At the end, thank the students and tell them they can leave.
