Professions
Registered Nurse Assessing, observing, and speaking to patients. Recording
details and symptoms of patient medical history and
current health.
Pharmacist The Pharmacist will dispense drugs prescribed by
physicians and other health practitioners and provide
information to patients about medications and their use.
He or she may advise physicians and other health
practitioners on the selection, dosage, interactions, and
side effects of medications.
Physician A medical doctor who is responsible for promoting,
maintaining, or restoring health through the study,
diagnosis, and treatment of disease, injury, and other
physical and mental impairments.
Medical Technologist Medical technologists are qualified healthcare scientists
who assist medical professionals to diagnose, treat, and
prevent diseases by analyzing biological samples. They
prepare biological samples for testing, perform test
procedures, and report their technical findings.
Medical Coder Analyzes medical records and identifies documentation
deficiencies. Serves as resource and subject matter expert
to other coding staff. Reviews and verifies documentation
supports diagnoses, procedures, and treatment results.
