- Adapted curriculum during the pandemic to be able to effectively teach virtually,

- Scaffolded and applied the Universal Design for Learning for my SPED students
who are mainstreamed into my classroom
- Incorporated a mixture of school-based PBIS systems, such as Cougar Cash and
Cougar Coins, as well as ClassDojo within the classroom, to maintain a fun and
disciplined environment
- Implemented projects that incorporated multiple subjects, such as the Famous
American Wax Museum, where students used history, art, and technology to

and implement science curriculum for students ranging from K-12th grade who
visited the Fullerton Arboretum on field trips throughout the year

aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards for 1st & 3rd Grade

- Through CSUF’s Teacher Pathway Program and NASA’s Jet Propulsion
Laboratory, collaborated in a team setting to create multiple 5E engineering
experiments to teach students ranging from K-6th Grade who were part of the City
of Fullerton’s Parks and Recreation summer program
- Taught students about rocket launch, wing designs, and the force and size of
comets with relations to crater size, as well as carried out correlating experiments
for students to test their hypotheses
