maintaining professional conduct. I understand that the classroom may be the
place where a student feels the safest and I will always do my absolute best to help
that child be comfortable in mine. Although I find myself leaning into the

working on to demonstrate these high standards.

When it comes to the safety and treatment of our
children, regardless of how they identify, I make sure
to speak up when a teacher gossips to other teachers
about a specific student.

teachers make inappropriate comments, I will be sure
to say something in response that will stop them from
