I demonstrate a professional demeanor at all times, while with my students and
school community. I follow all state education codes, legal requirements, district
and site policies, contractual agreements, and ethical responsibilities. I am always
trying to make sure that everything I do while teaching is helping students
succeed. I don’t want to just make sure my students make it to fourth grade. I
want to set them up to succeed in life and want to give them tools that will make
learning easier for them. (9/22/20)

I maintain a high commitment to my student's learning and their ongoing
development. Because of this, I am always searching for new things to do with my
class and new ways of presenting material to them. This also helps me better my
teaching skills and knowledge. The internet has been so helpful this school year. I
am always searching the web to help me with my lessons. One thing I found super
helpful was a lesson guide for "The BFG." I was able to take the lessons provided
and tweak them for my class. I was actually able to find these lesson plans straight
from the Roald Dahl website. (5/6/21)

I have a more diverse class this year because I have a few students that are new to

our country in the past few years. I work to maintain a space that is open to all
cultural backgrounds to keep my own responsibilities in check. I make sure that
everything in class is conducted in an ethical and professional manner for all
students. 11/27/21
