state. I also strive to instill personal responsibility and moral ethics into my
students throughout the classroom and within personal interactions.
Thankfully, I have never had to report possible child abuse or neglect, but I
am aware of the signs and willing to fulfill that duty if it were to arise. I
hope that I am a model of excellence on campus, both academically and
morally, though my sarcasm can sometimes get me in trouble. It is

I strive to take pride in my professional, as well as
uphold the ethical and professional standards
provided by my district, site, and state. I earnestly
desire that all of my students both pass my class and
progress in my subject, which requires that I actively
form effective lessons and provide assistance to
struggling students as much as possible.
I continuously collaborate with my fellow colleagues
with the interest of improving our curriculum and
shaping our pedagogy, which comes in the shape of
PLCs, emails, and conferences. I have also become a
more active member on my campus through clubs and
activities, such as being the Bible Club advisor,
becoming the Sonora Club Organizer within ASB,
working and attending sports games, and hosting
events such as Valentine Grams and Day of Silence.
And within all of my interactions with the students, I
try to uphold moral standards of respect, integrity,
honor, and trustworthiness. 5/2/18

though I will mention that I fail when it comes to
holding my peers accountable to the norms and
standards of our profession. Because I am still the
youngest and newest member of the department, I
feel like I am still looked down upon by most veteran
teachers. Thus, I keep my head down and I participate
merely within the confines of my PLC, without feeling
the need to communicate with or hold accountable
the actions of my older peers. It is something that I
will work on as I emerge as a leader in this
