Upon receiving the instruction from MFMS, TEM immediately observed the phase 4 area and checked all
the manholes physically available in the areas. Upon inspection, TEM observed that the manhole locations
are not found in phase 4 area as per the drawings, which may be replaced/cancelled on parking area
construction. Also 4 inch and 6 inch drain pipe is found on one side of the phase 4 area near to beach
area 4 & 5. Further to this, TEM inspected and opened available drainage/surface manholes from the
phase 4 area to confirm the connections. Upon investigation, TEM observed that most of the manholes
are in cancelled or filled with sands or no inlet/exit to the manholes.
Part 3 Part 4 Takyeef EM (TEM) Completed Action
TEM opened the Ashghal shaft manhole (SH – 2) provided one standby technician to observe any water
flow during the testing of manholes and drain points physically available in phase 4 area. Our specified
team started the water flow test from the drain points and continued the water flow for minimum 30
minutes. Similar time we inspected the shaft manhole for any water flow and confirmed that no water is
coming to the suspected shaft manhole in which the water connection keep for hours.
TEM continued the same exercise with available drain points and manholes in the drainage outlets are
available in the Mahaseel area and confirmed that the suspected shaft manholes are free from the
available drainage networks of the phase 4 areas.

Upon the detailed investigation, TEM confirmed that the available networks of drainage system in Phase
4 is free from the suspected the shaft manhole.
