Teamwork – Decision Exercise: ‘Moon Shot’

Background Information

You belong to a space ship crew, who according to plan should meet the mother ship
on the light side of the moon. Due to a technical failure your ship was forced to land
in a place situated about 300 km from the rendezvous. During landing manoeuvres a
great deal of the equipment aboard was destroyed. Since you have to reach the
mother ship to survive, your first objective will be to select the equipment necessary
for the 300 km March. Your task is to rank it in order of most to least importance
with regard to how useful it would be as an aid to your crew on the trip to the
rendezvous. Put 1 before the most important item, 2 before the next important and
so on to 15 before the least important item.
