CIRCULAR

Sub: Civil Supplies Department - Rice Cards – Enabling new service for “Correction
of Address in Rice Card” through GS/WS - Circular Instructions - issued - Reg.

Civil Supplies department is implementing 6 Rice card services through

GS/WS. In addition to them, several requests are being received from cardholders for
enabling provision for Correction of address in Rice cards. Accordingly, a decision
has been taken for enabling a new service for “Correction of Address in Rice Card”
through GS/WS.

In this regard, the following Standard Operation Procedure (SoP) is finalized

for change of Address in Rice Cards:
• Applicant has to approach the concerned GS/WS along with Rice card and
HoF aadhaar Xerox.
• In GS/WS Digital Assistant verifies the documents and raise the application
and the process as follows:
I. Under basic Details tab, details like Aadhaar, DOB, Mobile, Email, Address
etc., of the applicant (HoF) has to be entered, if details available in household
data will be captured automatically.
II. If the Present / Permanent address of the Applicant is different from the
address showing, then those details has to be entered.
III.Under Application Form Tab, HoF has to do the eKYC by selecting the Option
“Check Biometric Status”.
IV.If, eKYC is success, then the page will ask to enter the details of Income,
Occupation, and address to be changed, after that assign the Cluster, FP shop
from the drill down and submit the application.
V. Finally Select “Show Payment” option for payment details
VI.On successful completion of payment, the application will be generated.
VII.On generation of T number application will be pushed to Tahsildar login in
ePDS website for digital sign.
VIII.The card will be generated with changed address for reprint and in turn
delivery to the cardholder.

Therefore all the Collectors (CS) are requested to communicate the above SoP
for Correction of Address in Rice Card at all Village / Ward secretariats for
understanding of volunteers and beneficiaries for which they have to approach.

The Collectors (CS) are requested to take up the above with all concerned and
closely monitor the issues, and issue suitable instructions to the concerned officials

and field functionaries to follow the instructions scrupulously without any deviation
of the process.
