Theses are the methods that the environmental planners are going to use with the start-up of the
business.

Financial Assets – RM Bikes® will make use Angle Investors. Angle investors are groups or individuals
who can provide capital from their personal assets to assists our startup. These investors are willing to
provide for business start ups that have good potential for earnings.

Physical assets – The direct contact from various suppliers will allow the retail of bicycles from factory to
shop to customer. One of the priorities of RM Bikes® is to provide legit, reliable and affordable bicycle,
bicycle parts and accessories. That is why direct contact with the supplier is our method of sourcing our
retailed bicycles, bicycle parts and accessories.

The workshop, bicycle shop and the insurance office will all be in the same facility. The facility will
be located in Pasig City

Man Power - RM Bikes® will make sure to hire qualified, honest, costumer friendly, environmentally
aware people that will help us to build a well-off business that will benefit the owners, workforce and
customers.

RM Bikes® will have qualified hands and crews to work on the whole process to occupy the
following positions;

 Shop Manager Whole bike shop operation and pay roll.

 Human Resources and Admin Manager
 Merchandize Manager ensure consistent quality of bicycles, bicycle spare parts and accessories
from different manufacturers are purchased and retailed in good price that will ensure good
profit.
 Sales and Marketing Manager Responsible for the Bicycle Retailing.
 Accountant /Cashier Responsible for preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial
statements for the organization.
 Sales Personal/Customer Service-Retail Team (3) ensures that the customers of the shop are
entertained and satisfied.
 Insurance agents/Customer Service Insurance Team (3) ensures that their clients settle any
claims on their insurance.
 Bicycle Mechanics (5) qualified and gumptious.
Environmental Analysis

Earlier this year a recent report released the Center for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA) said
the Philippines ranked second in Southeast Asia in terms of significant improvements in air quality, next
only to Malaysia. This kind of improvement can be intensified with the use of bicycles because cycling
does not emit any CO2, which is harmful for the environment. In terms of environmental factors, having
a bicycle retailing and insurance is not an issue but an opportunity to help the environment recover
from air pollution. Assistant Secretary for Road Transport and Infrastructure, says the pandemic has
given more importance to None Motorized Transports and Personal Mobility Devices which includes
bicycles as an efficient mode of transportation, and efficient integration of these vehicles into the road
networks are being discussed as the government slowly eases lockdowns the country.

Social Analysis

An article published on May 2020 mentioned that Bikes emerge as post-lockdown commuter option, the
emergence of bicycles as commuter option is a great opportunity for RM Bikes since a lot of commuters
that usually take mass transportation would still cautiously practice physical distancing on the new
normal. The lack of road infrastructures for biking purposes are also being addressed by various
government departments and local government units, According to Vico Sotto from, Pop-up bike lanes
are being permitted for the use of the commuters. Also, Parrocha, A. from the Philippine News Agency
mentioned in his article entitled” DPWH creates group to construct bicycle lanes in Metro Manila” that a
team focused of constructing bike lanes are gathering data from major road sections around metro
manila for a long-term bike lane project. These efforts are huge opportunities for the business post-
pandemically since issues on road infrastructures are being tackled.
