Site visits before the design phase of a project is crucial in helping us understand the local
culture of a place. When a project is located in a place unfamiliar to us, a site visit not only allows
us to conduct site analysis, but also exposes us to the local way of life and the unique culture of
the place.

The video is all about a site visit in Sta. Elena Hacienda, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. In the first part
of the video, they just summarized their experience before visiting the project site. After a long
ride, they finally arrived at the site. The project Engineer discussed about the electrical pipes, pipe
sleeve, and electrical room.

Based on the video, an electrical pipe or conduit، is a pipe used to protect and guide
electrical wiring in a building or non-building structure that acts as a protective cover for
conductors that have passed through it to prevent damage to the wire or its insulation, as well as
Individual protection against unwanted contact. Next, a sleeve is a section of pipe that is placed in
a wall or partition for the passage of piping. As the pipe expands and contracts in its thermal cycle,
the purpose is to protect the pipe and insulation from chafing. And lastly, the purpose of an
electrical room is to house electrical equipment, providing a space that is both safe and secure for
the operation and maintenance of the electrical equipment. Electrical equipment ratings and types
can significantly affect the room requirements.
