I. Preliminaries
The group 3 will be handling an activity specifically a team building activity that will focus on the
topic leadership. In the team building activity each member of the group should participate and
lay a solid foundation that will be used throughout the activity.

II. General Orientation


The facilitator will give an overview about Structural properties of Groups, with emphasis on the
different leadership theories and styles.

IV. Exercise/ Activity
i. Title: Snake (Team Building about Leadership)
ii. Activity Materials
 Piece of cloth (Blindfolds)
 Crumpled Paper
 Bucket

iii. Learning Objectives


 To emphasize the importance of good leadership.
 To build stronger connection among members of the group.
 To build and learn skills about leadership.

iv. Instructions
This is a no talking activity. It is very important to ensure and in still a sense of trust within
the group. The participant will be given 3 minutes to finish the activity. The facilitator instruct
the participant to form a line.

v. Activity Proper
The last person in the back of the line will be the leader and guide the participants by simply
tapping the shoulders of the person in front of them, and then be guided to the bucket where
they will drop the crumpled paper. When a participant drops the crumpled paper into the bucket,
they will then remove their blindfold and become the sighted team member or the leader. The
person who was in the back of the line then puts on a blindfold. Continue this process until all
team members have placed the crumpled paper into the bucket.

The Facilitators will ask feedback from the participants about the activity.
a. What have you learned from the activity?
b. Were the different leadership theories been applied in the activity?
c. What strategy did your group use in order to accomplish the objectives of the activity?
d. In your group, what insights did you gain from the activity?
e. What leadership skills did you develop from the activity?

vii. Analysis- Synthesis


The facilitator conducted an activity about the different Structural Properties of Groups which
includes the different theories of leadership, role structure, group norms and status. The
seminar started with a short introductory talk, general orientation and an ice breaker to lift the
mood of the participants. Then, a lecturette was delivered by the facilitator to share their
knowledge on the assigned topics. The highlight of the activity entitled SNAKE (Team Building
about Leadership) wherein it enhances teamwork and trust to emphasize the importance of
good leadership and to build stronger connection among members of the group. The
participants were very attentive and cooperative on the whole duration of the said activity.
viii. Integration
Leadership is the ability to influence other people in some way. Acquiring skills of leadership is
considered an asset for a person. The focus of the activity was on the concept of leadership.
Each player will have the opportunity to become a leader and a driving force in the game's
decision-making. They will observe how the activity benefits them in their everyday lives and in
the future, such as in the workplace, because it encourages cooperation, camaraderie, and
strong relationships among group members. In general having good leadership skills leads to
the attainment of common goal.
