Philippines was not exempted and created the IATF to manage and control the situation. ‘The Department of Education had its share on how to place its people especially the learners to keep safe. Thus, the end of school year 2019-2021. and the beginning of SY 2020-2021 are both far from what we used to do, We are now under the new normal in Education making our respective E-SIP, AIP, etc. be revised to consider the most essential needs of the school and its people to ensure that education will continue even without face to face classes. Instead, different items, needs and considerations in conformity the present situation are being undertaken in the revision of the various plans in the school level. Planning Team (SPT) of Prenza Elementary School. Through brainstorming and sharing of ideas we have come to realize that our vision is more than just the end: goal ofa plan. its a dream, a wish, a prayer ~ what we fervently hope for and what we diligently work towards. We want to develop learners who will become better citizens of the ‘country who will serve and work to make our country a better place to live in. To make these possible ‘we need to inculcate the values deemed necessary and desirable and train our pupils to make sure they have the necessary competencies. Asa learner-centered institution we want our pupils to know how to improve themselves and realize their dreams, while keeping in mind the state oftheir country and the welfare oftheir people. {nturn, Filipinos realize their potential, not for selfish gain, but to contribute to building a nation every Filipino deserves. Current Status of Pupils For the current school year Prenza Elementary School has a total of 2, 363 pupils. The number of male and female pupils tremendously increased. Due to shortage of classrooms, shifting of classes was implemented in the school to accommodate the number of pupils. Inhealth and nutrition, 1.05 % fall outside the normal health status both in the primary and intermediate grades. In terms of learners materials, the school had received textbooks for various subjects, like English, Filipino, Araling Panlipunan, MAPEH and other K-12 modules. However there are still shortage of books or learning materials in the intermediate levels. With regards to performance, reported dropout rate of 2.37% was recorded for S.¥. 2018-2019 wherein domestic: related factors and individual-related factors were found to be the most common causes of drop-out rate among pupils. Most common reasons under these factors are family problems and illness. In terms of literacy level, based from the results of the latest PHIL-IRI there were 1, 019 pupils out of 1, 100 pupils or 92.63% passed. It was also identified that pupils in the ary level especially Grades One and Two pupils need further intervention in reading. 2. Current Status of Teachers and Staff Number of teachers were able to attend District, Division and School-Based Trainings. Continuous Improvement Program on ICT Skills ike Microsoft Word and Power Point Presentation were also implemented to enhance teachers’ skills in using technology as teaching aid. However, additional training in the use of Microsoft Excel. In this time of pandemic, where face to face instruction is not possible, teachers attend webinars to adapt with the different online platforms and continuously communicate with parents to ensure everyone's access to quality education. 3, Status of Physical Facilities and set-up, Working Condition and Environment Shortage of classrooms is very evident due to increase number of enrolment. Some classrooms being utilized also need minor repairs like repainting, installation of lighting and fixtures, replacement of roofing and ceilings. School System and Processes To keep school plans organized and to effectively execute each plan to attain the general objectives, teams will be organize to facilitate, monitor and work on the different priority improvement areas. Shared leadership is being practiced in the schoo! by assigning Grade Leaders in each grade level who serves as the focal person and relays information to fellow teachers. Master Teachers are also assigned in each grade level to monitor, evaluate, collaborate ‘and to conduct peer coaching with teachers. Different assignments and coordinatorship is being assigned to selected teachers for monitoring, evaluation, documentation and implementation. The school head on the other hand will closely check the continuous flow of the processes ‘and will also monitor the implementation of the different programs and projects. 5. Schoo! Goals The CoVID-19 pandemic has affected the educational system. Pupils and teachers are ‘currently missing face to face instruction. However, Prenza Elementary School make ways to address the needs of pupils and continuously provide learners of the services of a quality school: nurturing, innovative and qualified teachers and support staff; reflective, responsive and effective school leaders, and a challenging curriculum that prepares students for the future.
