Year 2018-2019. 2. The administration of the Phil-IRI 2018 aims to achieve the following: 2.1, Measure and describe the leamers’ reading performance in both English and Filipino languages in oral reading, silent reading, and listening comprehension; 2.2. Determine the leamers’ independent, instructional, and frustration level; and 2.3. Use as bases in planning, designing/redesigning the reading instruction of the teachers and the school’s reading programs or activities to improve the overall school’s reading performance. 3. The conduct of initial screening, Phil-IRI Group Screening Test (GST) Pangkalahatang Pagtatasa shall start immediately after the dissemination of this Memorandum and will end on or before August 24, 2018. The District's Phil-IRI Pre-Test Report shall be submitted at theSchools Division Office (SDO)-Curriculum Implementation Division (CID) on or before August 31, 2018. The District English and Filipino Coordinators, in coordination with the concerned EPS/PSDS, shall collate the schools’ Phil-IRI reports and prepare the District's reports which shall be forwarded to the SDO-CID. 5. All Filipno and English subject teachers for Grades 3 to 6 and Grades 4 to 6 respectively are advice to download the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory Manual 2018 from DepEd Learning Portal at www Irmds.deped gov.ph_for the proper implementation and complete documentation of this program. Hence, all concerned teachers are expected to fill out all the necessary forms 6.
