Based on my understanding of the learning that has been given, for its implementation I will position
myself as a manager and here is how I plan for the company I run:

Top management must make an Environmental Policy. If it is not top management who is
responsible for environmental policies, then only a small part of the company's operations will be
touched by this environmentally sound policy. If top management is responsible, it is hoped that its
environmental policy will have a comprehensive impact on the company. This policy must (1) be
appropriate to the scale and type of activity (business) carried out, (2) contain a commitment to
continuous improvement and pollution prevention, (3) have a commitment to comply with
applicable laws and regulations, (4) have a framework for establishing as well as reviewing the
environmental objectives and targets to be achieved, (5) documented, implemented and
maintained/defined and communicated to all workers; and (6) open to the public (ISO 14001). In
addition, (7) environmental policies must reflect a balance. This team must make plans (programs),
such as work plans and action plans (programs that have been operational) which must not conflict
with environmental policies that have been made by the government.

In planning, the existing organization should establish and establish procedures for identifying the
environmental aspects of its activities, products or services, which are expected to have a significant
impact on the environment. This organization must be able to ensure that these important
impacting aspects are taken into consideration in setting environmental objectives. In this case, the
company must be able to access legal aspects and other needs, set written goals and targets, and
determine programs to achieve the targets that have been set, who is responsible for implementing
the program and what is needed and the targets for achieving it.

This work plan is then implemented. In its implementation and operations, the roles, responsibilities
and authorities of each party must be clearly defined, documented and communicated in order to
facilitate effective environmental management. Management must prepare and provide the
necessary resources, including human resources with special skills, technology and finance. The
implementation of the program is checked, if there are errors or obstacles then corrective action is
taken. In the process of checking and corrective action, the organization must establish procedures
for regularly monitoring and measuring the key characteristics (key parameters) of the company and
its activities that can have a significant impact on the environment. The organization has procedures
to define responsibility and authority for dealing with and investigating nonconformities, taking
action to address their effects, correcting them, or preventing them before they occur. This must be
supported by adequate records. Audits of environmental management should be carried out
periodically, either to find out whether environmental management has been implemented properly
or as information material for management. The top management of the organization within the
specified time period must review the results to ensure their continued suitability and effectiveness.
The management review should address the possible need for changes to the environmental policy,
objectives and other elements.
