1. Your friend Jack confides to you that he has a drug problem. He begs you not to tell anyone. He
says he just needs someone in whom to confide. He does not plan to stop using drugs but wants
you to know in case things go badly for him. What are possible courses of action for you? What
are the advantages and disadvantages of each one?

2. You have just found out that there is a school prize for which you are eligible. For some reason,
the prize has not been well publicized. You know that your best friend Jane is also eligible. You
also know that if she applies her chances of winning the prize might be better than yours. You
are debating with yourself whether to tell her about the prize. What are possible courses of
action for you? What are the advantages and disadvantages of each one?
