Storage Keep packages on top of pallets in a covered, cool, dry place, away from extreme
temperatures or heat sources, in the original, separate and sealed packages, with maximum
stacking of 10 bags.

Application Method

Substrate Preparation
The substrate must be clean and free of loose particles, dust,
oils, cement cream and other contaminants. The substrate
must be dry and rough for the application.
Mixing
Emcekrete EP is a three-component product and must have
all three components (A, B and C) mixed together.
Components A (resin) and B (hardener) are mixed together
and little by little part C (powder) is added. Fractionation is
not recommended.
The mixing of the three (3) components should be done by
low speed (400 to 500 rpm) mechanical mixers. For larger
quantities it is necessary to use vertical shaft mixers.
(Consult the Technical Department for more information).
The product should be mixed between 3 and 5 minutes.
Application
The tightness of the formwork is essential to ensure the total
filling of the spaces to be filled.
The grouting must be continuous in order to avoid cold joints
and must be carried out from only one side of the structural
element.
Application Conditions
The working time of Emcekrete EP depends on climatic
conditions. High temperatures decreases the workability time
of the product while low temperatures increases it. After this
time, the product should be discarded.
During application, the temperature of the substrate and the
environment should be between 5°C and 40°C.
Curing
Because it is an epoxy-based grout, it is not required a cure
procedure for Emcekrete EP.
