JOINT AFFIDAVIT OF ARREST

We, Pat Fritz Bryan Yong Coronado, Pat Mustater Tambawang Latip, Pat Benjamin
Dalimbang Laguialam, and Pat Mohaimin Saban Panot, all members of Philippine National
Police presently assigned with 1404th RMFC, RMFB14, PRO BAR based at Brgy. Datu
Balabaran, Tamontaka, Cotabato City, after having been duly sworn to an oath in accordance
with the law, do hereby depose and state;

1. That we are the same PNP personnel described above who caused this Joint Affidavit
of Arrest against Anwar S. Mantawil, 25 years old, male, married, driver, and resident of Brgy.
Datu Balabaran, Cotabato City; Aries S. Lakman, 25 years old, male, single, helper and
Mohamiden Y. Maliga, 24 years old, male, single, helper both residents of Brgy. Upper Capiton,
Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao; Abdulbayan M. Guialil, 46 years old, male, married, driver
and Musarram S. Sappal, 52 years old, male, married, helper both residents of RH7, Cotabato
City who were transporting nineteen (19) boxes of smuggled cigarettes (D&B);

2. That on August 14, 2020 at around 1:30 in the early morning along the National
Highway at Brgy. Awang, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao our unit together with Datu Odin
Sinsuat MPS, RIAT, RIU15 and PIU MAGPPO conducted joint intel-led operation and
established the checkpoint after receiving a tip that a shipment of smuggled cigarettes from
Datu Blah Sinsuat, Maguindanao was on its way in Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao;

3. That on or about 2:30 AM of same date, during the checkpoint, we intercepted two
vehicles and we, Pat Fritz Bryan Y Coronado, Pat Mustater T Latip were flagged down check a
vehicles described as one (1) Town Ace color orange with plate number MWB 318 carrying ten
(10) boxes of smuggled cigarettes (D&B) boarded with three (3) persons later identified as
Anwar S. Mantawil, Ariel S. Lakman and Mohamiden Y. Maliga and we, Pat Benjamin D
Laguialam and Pat Mohaimin S Panot flagged down one (1) Toyota D4D Van, color metallic
silver with plate number RNX 251 carrying nine (9) boxes of smuggled cigarettes (D&B) and
boarded with two (2) persons later identified as Abdulbayan M. Guialil and Musarram D Sappal
and a total of nineteen (19) boxes, each box containing fifty (50) rims and each rims containing
ten (10) packs of smuggled cigarettes (D&B). Further, the said smuggled cigarettes boxes were
visibly loaded in two vehicles prompting us to check and being transported by them going to
Brgy. Upper Capiton, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao;

4. That arrested suspects together with the seized and recovered evidence was brought
to the PNP COMPAC-DOSMPS, Brgy. Tamontaka, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao for
booking, documentation and proper disposition. Likewise, the arrested persons were apprised
their rights in a dialect known to them as provided for under the Constitution of the Philippines;

5. That we executed this Joint Affidavit of Arrest to affirm the truthfulness of all the
foregoing facts.
