GAMMA Insulator Company is the utility products manufacturing subsidiary of the Corona Group,
a multinational conglomerate with over 135 years manufacturing experience.

GAMMA's manufacturing facility is located in Colombia, South America, near the city of Medellín.

The Free Trade Agreement in force between Colombia and the United States provides

GAMMA’s fully stocked North American warehouse, located in Houston, TX, provides a

Station posts in this catalog are available in standard strength, high strength, and extra high strength, in
ratings from 95 kV BIL through 350 kV BIL, and for applications ranging from 15 kV through 59 kV operating
voltages.

Each porcelain insulator body is molded from the highest quality raw materials produced in our
state-of-the-art mineral processing facilities, yielding a product of exceptional wet process workability,
purity, and uniformity. The entire surface of each station post receives a smooth, uniform glaze, in either
gray or brown, to provide maximum mechanical porcelain strength, to resist the accumulation of
contaminants on the surface, and to facilitate ease of cleaning via rain or routine maintenance. In addition,
the product line features uniform surface drying and voltage distribution to prevent flashover as well as
dry-band arc suppression for high performance and long-term reliability.

Our polymer station posts insulators core is made of a corrosion resistant epoxy resin fiberglass rod
constructed exclusively for electrical and mechanical applications. Housing and sheds consist of a
one-piece injection molded composite material that chemically bonds to the core rod. This creates a
water-tight seal between the polymer and the rod that is impervious to moisture penetration.

All hardware fittings are manufactured using hot dipped galvanized malleable cast iron or ductile cast iron
and are designed specifically for all mechanical and electrical applications to ensure optimum performance
and service longevity.

All GAMMA Polymer Station Post Insulators are designed, manufactured and tested according to ANSI
standard C29.9.
