Question:
Suppose that you carried out a small survey in your
neighbourhood (four to five families). Your presumed interview
data revealed that almost 50% of the people got their first
vaccination shot while the others are fully vaccinated and
preparing to get the booster shot. Prepare an Introduction section
of a report keeping in view the following sections.

“Controlling COVID-19 with Vaccination: A

Report on Gathering Facts and Statistics”

1. Introduction:

1.1 Purpose:
The purpose of this report is to provide data related to the
number of people who:
 got first vaccination shot
 are fully vaccinated
 are preparing for booster shot.
The report will also recommend benefits of getting
vaccination.

1.2 Background:
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected about 210 countries
with more than 67 million confirmed cases and over 1.5
million deaths across the globe including Pakistan.
COVID-19 has affected social and economic
sectors(industrial sector, construction sector, health sector,
transport sector, media and cultural sector, education sector,
tourism sector etc.)
Till now COVID-19 has effected with four variants:
 Beta
 Gamma
 Delta
 Omicron

1.3 Method of investigation:

Questions were asked from 4 to 5 families in the
neighbourhood related to COVID-19 vaccination. Some of
individuals from these families were effected by COVID-19
in past. These individuals were also interviewed to get more
in-depth views.

1.4 Scope:
This report provides data of people who got their first
vaccination dose, people who are fully vaccinated and
people are preparing to get the booster shot.
This survey was limited to own residential area so it cannot
be generalized over the entire city.
