1: Banned nations

A) Granada, Navarra, Lithuania, Provence, Aragon, Novgorod,

Denmark/Lübeck/Hamburg/Dittmarschen, Brabant/Flanders/Holland, Aragon/Naples,
England/Scotland, Irish minors,

2: Alliance rules
A) Before 1500:
- Great powers: 3 human allies (1 gp)
- Normal nations: 3 human allies (2 gp)

B) 1500-1575:
- Great powers: 2 human allies (1 gp)
- Normal nations: 2 human allies (2 gp)

C) 1575-1675:
- Great powers: 1 human ally (1 gp)
- Normal nations: 2 human allies (1 gp)

D) 1675-1821:
- Great powers: 1 human ally (1 gp)
- Normal nationms: 2 human allies (1 gp)

E)
- No muslim/christian alliances if the muslim nation is a great power. (Rule
expires in Age of Reformation)
- Muslim nations may ally 1 Christian great power, but can ally more if the
Christian nations share a land border wider than 4 adjacent provinces.
- Top 5 GP can't ally each other.
- Muslim GP's can't ally each other

Not considered an alliance:


Human vassals, marches, PU, guarantee.

3: Call to arms vs. human war leader, Enforce peace, GP intervene are not allowed.
A) HRE emperor can use call to arms within 6 months if the HRE gets attacked.

4: War & Peace


A) There are no rules about peace. Use stab-hit tactics to force defiant enemies.
Exception: A player with positive warscore may force a white peace if the war has
lasted 10 years.
B) No CB wars & Truce breaking is only allowed vs. AI - but never to ruin your
nation.

5: Bankruptcy
- You will be banned from Discord if you leave, while your country is in
bankruptcy.
- You may ask the host for permission to leave without a ban.
- You may not declare war on a player who is bankrupt.

6: Special rules
A) Speed 3 is required to play on this server.
You are entitled to 3 warnings and a chance to fix your connection before being
asked to leave.

B) Ming
Ming may only offer Tributary status to human players that he can see in 1444. This
includes force-tributary.
Ming is not allowed to ally other players, but he may make them their tributary
state.
Ming is not allowed to conquer provinces that form snakey borders.
Ming's tributaries are also not allowed to conquer provinces and form snakey
borders.

C) France
France may not expand into Iberia unless he rivals Castille & has no truce with
Castille.

D) Burgundy must give independence to Holland at the start of the game if Holland
wants it (if Burgundy and Holland are both players).

E) First idea group can't be military if your total development is higher than 100.

F) Ottomans & Mamluks


- Mamluks may not vassalize/conquer Dulkadir and Karaman before 1455.
- Ottomans and Ottomans may not directly declare war on each other before the Age
of Reformation, but they can still fight each other as junior partners in wars.

- May not attack each other in Iberia unless they rival each other and the defender
has a female ruler.

J) 99% rule
- The following wars must adhere to the 99% warscore rule. Players must accept any
peace deal sent by the enemy warleader if the enemy warleader has 99% warscore:
Morocco-Castille, Ottomans-Poland, Austria-Venice, Burgundy-France, Sweden-Muscovy,
Ottomans-Mamluks, Castille-Aragon

K) France can force England to sell the cores for 500 if there is a human Burgundy
player.

Custom nations (if enabled)

10: Players may create and play a custom nation in any region with uncolonized
provinces.
- Max 1 player per region (press i to see mapmode in lobby)
- Can take up to a max of 4 provinces that were uncolonized.

11: War against players already in a defensive war (warleaders and junior partners)
if that war has lasted less than 10 years:
A: You can take max 2 provinces which you must have claims on, humiliate, warreps
and nothing else.

12: Countries outside of Europe opens up after 18 players in lobby.
- Europe is defined by countries that are north of Sahara, east of Atlantic ocean
and west of Timurids.

13: Players with a higher level in Discord may take a nation away from someone with
a lower level.
- You can't use this to take away a nation from someone who played it previously.

14: You can't take provinces away from a human junior partner with warscore if you
don't have 90% against the junior partner. Reason: Declare a direct war on the
junior partner instead if you want his provinces.

15: The mercantilism exploit is not allowed.
