Department
TRANSMISSION & DISTRIBUTION

Primary purpose of job

Directly supervises, co-ordinates and participates in the routine and breakdown maintenance of all Field / Control room
instrumentation installed throughout Transmission and distribution network, including F&G / ESD / SCADA / Compressor
Controls / Vibration monitoring systems, Flow Metering System, Analyzers, HIPPS, Shutdown valves, field instrumentation,
Instrument Air Compressors and pipe line monitoring system.

Ensure full compliance to Safety, -14 Maintenance Planning and scheduling, , prepare scope of work for maintenance and
minor modification, review job specific material requirement and guarantee material availability prior to job scheduled date,
co-ordinate and provide Instrumentation and Controls related inputs to shut down team, execute/participates in the
implementation of minor modifications/like to like replacements, supervises subordinates and contract technicians and
maintains all associated technical and administrative records of work performed.

Provides efficient and quality maintenance of Instrument and control systems installed in GDS facilities at Mesaieed, Doha
and Ras Laffan. This job will ensure minimize plant down time and maximize plant equipment’s availability.

Experience & Skills

Skills:
Computer literate in appropriate software’s. Very good knowledge of English is essential.

Experience:
At least 12 years of experience in Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industries in the installation and maintenance of Instruments
and SCADA/DCS control systems associated with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in any computerized Management
System.

Education
Bachelor degree in Electronics/instrumentation engineering.
