institution University of Gondar is a product and essence of the surrounding environment after all
the product of the university has to be a part of the environment that is why it started and

committed to growth, innovation and development which leads to the start of its journey with
nature since 1954 E.C to overcome and solve society problem through education and medical
innovation, keeping an idea and be a part of country development since then the university had
achieved many millstones both for the society and the country in tamarind’s ways by the
parameters devised as goal, mission and vision parameter in fulfilling the progress of initial idea.

The University of Gondar is greatly committed on investing in the future to create a better
tomorrow. Alongside our developing program and delivery we want to ensure that we want to
establish firm foundation to support the growth an outstanding educational infrastructural
establishment, as such we propose to invest in developing infrastructure which remind us that our
university is the first generation university which start 6 decade ago by imagining that which is
university of Gondar is dedicated to protect architectural history, socio economical development
and one part of the society and historical and ancient Gondar town.

Since it is the foundation of all other campus it has to have its own foundation them and a form
work to memorize its contribution to the 60 years journey goal achievement and mission, vision
and other dedicated commitment to achieve the targeted result of the campus and conduct the
given educational system and the expected result from the first generation institution objectives.

As we all know university of Gondar has been contributing in many aspects of science technology,
social and community contribution to crate the better future of better tomorrow , as an artist and a
member of the community we saw some light of future what if the university of Gondar can
transfer a big and undeniable knowledge to both the community, customers (fellow undergrad and
post grad students), society and the tourist which came all over the world, by sensitizing and
generating the coherent future which reflect both the entire principle and goal achievement and
foundation for platinum anniversary foundation of the university of Gondar with the civilization of
the society like FASIL castle.

It is believed that when given institution reflect the entire concept of governing principle and goal
to the community by using visual communication and graphic futures is the better way to conceive

In order to share the mission, goal and vision of the university we have to transfer the intuition

Problem identification

As it is well known the University of Gondar is one of the first generation university from our
counter but as you recognize it the entire campus is not that much well reflecting the fact its legacy
and achievement to the environment and history of the ancient Gondar town.

interior artistically master piece works.
2. Luck of ancient imitation works which preserve the concept of an ancient original idea on the
mind of imaginative self cultivated inspiration (especially students).
3. Luck of historical aesthetical value and beauty as well historical reflective reception area for
Gusts, higher officials and tourists.
4. Forgetting the iconic, big life time contributor and life time achiever of the society and
university community to the achievement of the university journey.
5. Luck of Architectural and Artistical works which present the estimated Goal and persuaded
mission and vision of platinum jubilee.
6. The luck of unique architectural and artistic work which aims on income generation and entire
image establishment of the university as well the redecoration of the presidential office as
holistically traditional museum with the similar concept of Addis Ababa university 6 kilo
campus museum.

Growth, innovation and development and making them the part of the museum.

Method of assessment

In order to exploit the problem and assessment of the proposed action we use the sight analysis of
the entire town including the campus to select the favorable place and collection of work that has
to be included.

Cause and effect analysis

The simple form of existence of the residential space and absence of interior compartment causes
luck of grace of the campus and missing the concept of idea transmission by using this and other
major space area which host and hold a lot of people on their day to day activities.

In our research team analysis we selected we hope tow stake holders on accouardanc with their
intimate participation and collection of heritage and historical collection and budget fund for the
artistically and architectural works.

of any types of historical and cultural heritage monuments and work of art which can be arranged
and forms an agreement with the university of Gondar with common and mutual understanding
and beneficiary both idealist who want to confirm their green entity on the inspiration their
perspective on the presentation of eager minds of tomorrow.

Cost analysis and return period

For income generation and return of the cost we analyzed the situation and came up with the
following idea.

1st official open the museum for public and visitor on non working day of the week including
holydays by announcing by using official website of the university advertisement and the
connection which will be made with private and governmental tour agencies and arranging the
following initial cost.

A. For Adult and old people nominating 5 Birr entrance cost.

B. For children and students from other campus 3 Birr entrance cost.

C. For international visitors and foreigners 15 Birr entrance cost.

As the team we consider the time value of money and consideration of 2-3 days of visiting day per
week we arrived on the computational calculation the return period of reasonable durational
period of time which wisely consider the reason of expenditure which is the well bingnes of the
community.

PROJECT PURPOSE OF PROPOSED ACTION

The project team of university interior feature and restoration is proposing to undertake
improvements to the general and specific feature of University of Gondar that would enable the
university to produce a hot spot for tourist & visitor attraction to generate income, be a reflection
of Gondar town historical architecture and space for enlightenment & consistent work to the
intellectual student of tomorrows generation by producing an image of artistically integrity.
Involving the professional artist, engineers and hired architectural professionals that meets the
standards for unrestricted tradition historical artistic ale work (i.e paint, sculpture, engraving work
and graphical art), standard traditional and historical architectural design and & aesthetics work.
The District is also proposing to directly be a place of history and mystery to future by reclaimed
hot spot and land mark by inducing the concept of museum to the society as well gusts.

Specific objective

A. Ensuring the structural, historical and functional quality of the university of Gondar by
establishing museum of art that can be the meeting place
B. To make our art museum an instrument to research programs in our university to undertake
research, the museum provides an unrivalled wealth of information and resources as well as
access to archives, scholars and highly trained professionals.
C. Be a solution for the town and the community by creating space area and museum to reflect
the heritage of the society, contribution of the town to the world and contribution to modern
art and education.
D. To make the university of Gondar one of the heritages of Gondar town which is to be visited by
foreign tourists and local one and place of reservation and restoration of the community lost

General objective

Other than the direct and specific objective our team project for legacy generation and character
building up for the reflection of platinum jubilee, business and development had surveyed and
analyses’ final came up with the indirect and general objective in overcoming the problem as an
objective.

The general objective of establishing the museum of art here in the university of Gondar is to
create a meeting place for art, knowledge and experience and we will present the public with
exciting offering, rich art collection which show the historical background of university of Gondar
historical background of university of Gondar like memorizing those farmers who contributed their
land to our university, the cultural heritages of the ancient town Gondar. Which could be open to
the community of our university and to the society of Gondar town. To maintain the museum art
gallery in the university of Gondar and to exhibit, promote and preserve artifacts in the form of
visual arts such as painting, drawing and graphics art relating to the history of the ancient town
Gondar focusing on the important heritages and cultures of the society. To promote education,
research and publication related to the Gondar town. Our museum of art collects the work of arts
of the artist’s studies, conserves and presents significant pieces about the ancient town of Gondar
and some very important facts of university of Gondar.

SCOPING AND ISSUES

The main concept of this project proposal using the non verbal ways of communication to
memorize and reestablish the Goal, vision and mission of the university in our day to day life by just
creating graphical, illustrative, transgenic , monumental and mistrial forms and future to reflect
them.

Methodology and strategy

As a goal of producing standard, internationally and historical recognizable interior and gate design
and implementation by inducing architectural and artistical value, the proposing team will use a
procedure, method and strategies in produce a better common ground and income generation for
the university of Gondar we will propose five phase of design and implementation stage to achieve
the targeted objectives so as a foundation and beginning of this dream we will start the project on
the museum design and implementation by using presidential interior wale face and interior folds
which is left with no purpose.

Strategy one

Introducing a master piece work of art which will be produced by Artist Eskinder Berhanie

Strategy two

The paintings, drawings, graphics arts and work will be done by artist Eskinder Birhanie and two
professional collogues who will be haired according to their professional resume.

Strategy three

By using haired professionals of architects the entire museum interior design and a form work of
master piece display.

Strategy four

If it is possible and we have the fund to include some historical pilgrim which are on seal and
personal collections to fully accomplish the spirit contemporary museum according to roman
museum development standard

Stage five

Completing all works of the entire element and adjust the interior for display and visit with in non
working days and if possible to make sure it is available on working days without affecting the
movement of workers and official without causing any physical problem to displayed work of art.

their farm land to the university.
 Decoration of the presidential office and selected schools and faculty officials building by using
historical, nominal, educational, mysteries, memorial, and recognition pictures and pictures of
