Log onto the system using your account and password by mousing over the Faculty login link and selecteing Faculty Login.

Log on from here.

Mouse over the Customer link and choose Course Info.

Click on the Add New Course button.

Insert course details (including Course Number, Course Name and Course Description. Then choose update.

Your course is now recorded.

The next step is to record the details of your course. Currently the UCC APJ is not using this particular system alone for requesting SAP products. UAP APJ members are still required to contact the UCC Customer Relationship Manager directly

(crm.ucc@qut.edu.au) to request and negotiate both datasets and packages. Recording your course details here is for UAP and UCC management purposes. 7. Mouse over Customer and select Request Clients from the drop down menu.

8. You will now be presented with the following screen.

9. Next select the course you wish to record details of from the top pane by clicking on the select link on the left of the top pane.

10. Now click on the button Add class details and required clients.

You will be presented with the screen below. Please note that class details should be completed by the Course Co-ordinator/course teacher. If a second academic is to teach part of this subject then his or her name should be recorded in the comments field. Eg. This subjec t also taught by name of teacher. If there are two subjects being taught then this is to be recorded as a second course with separate class details recorded.

11. Please complete this form with the following field information. Those fields marked * are mandatory. a. The Number of Sections refers to the number of teaching periods per year you offer this course. b. Total undergraduate student enrolment the number of undergrad students actually enrolled in this subject. c. Total graduate student enrolment the number of graduate students actually enrolled in this subject. d. Date Course Begins the start date of the course. e. Date Course Ends the end date of the course. f. Date Client Needed the date from which access is required. Includes any preparation time before the commencement date of the course. g. Days and Time Class Meets is free text. My example is Monday 9:00am. h. First Requested Product is a drop down menu. GBI is the dataset that accompanies Introduction to ERP. So in this exercise I have chosen Introduction to ERP, as I am using GBI.

Once this form is complete, select update at the top of the form. You should now be presented with the screen below. You have now completed all the details required to record your course and class details. No further action is required.
