Mounting Procedure

1. Install the O - ring (16) into the housing (17).

2. Install the cover (15) and the screws (14).

3. Tighten the bolts (14) to a torque of 21 ± 2 N · m (16 ± 1 lb-ft) .

Improper mounting of spring loaded parts can cause injury.

To avoid possible injury, follow the established assembly procedure and

wear protective equipment.

4. Install spring 6, spool 7, washer 8, spring 9, seat 10, seat 11, spring 12, and stem 13.

5. Install O - ring on the plug (5).

6. Install the plug (5).

7. Repeat Steps 4 through Steps 6 for the remaining valves.

8. Install the plate (4).

9. Install the plate (3) and the nut.

10. Tighten the plate (3) to 47 ± 3 N · m (35 ± 2 lb-ft) torque .

11. Install the handle (2).

12. Tighten the nut (1).

Finish:

a. Install the pilot valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Joystick - Install".
