SCOPE OF WORK

TITLE: PROJECT LEAD


UNIT: GLOBAL HEALTH SECURITY ADVOCACY

I. BACKGROUND/ PURPOSE
● CISDI has been actively involved in COVID-19 response advocacy at the national
level. That is strongly associated with the importance of global health security,
including the issue of vaccine equity and sustainable financing for health security,
more than ever.
● This project will work on global health security advocacy by building analytical
evidence, stakeholders engagement, and amplifying the findings to create the
appropriate policy momentum
● The Project Lead is responsible to oversee and manage the whole process of the
project, starting from planning, implementation up to monitoring, evaluation and
other follow up activities, to ensure the achievement of the goals

II. ACTIVITIES/DELIVERABLES
The Project Lead is expected to work for 5 days per week (7 hours from 9 AM to 5
PM). Key activities include:

III. WORK RELATIONS

INTERNAL ● Human Resource (HR) – technical discussion and preparations of
projects/activities such as finding consultants, contracting

administrative support, etc.;
● Knowledge Management (KM) – technical support for data,
information, and report management and usage.
● Policy – translating new knowledge/findings into policy products
● Strategic unit – aligning focus and research priorities; identifying
potential external research grants
● Communication – channelling and communicating advocacy
activities and priorities
● Program - work in coordination to support content and to get
data and stories from the field

EXTERNAL ● Consultants – technical assistance for preparation,


implementation, and reporting of projects;
● Experts and policy makers – liaising and maintaining relationships

IV. QUALIFICATIONS
● A minimum of master’s degree in international relations, global health or other
relevant fields
● Minimum of 5 years of project management and advocacy experience
● Demonstrates experiences or familiarity with health security issues and policies
on national, regional, and global level
● demonstrates great knowledge of G20 and global health security issues
● Experience in project/program management, including logframe development,
budget planning, and resource management
● Experience of managing collaborative development projects with fixed deadlines
● Possess strong leadership, analytical thinking, attention to details, stakeholder
and crisis management
● Strong communications skills – verbal, written and presentation in Bahasa and
English, with experience in presenting and working with international and
national stakeholders
● Experience working with international and national organizations in tobacco
control
