Dear Families,

We are sharing this information out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our
students and community.

We have received notification of a positive PCR or Rapid Antigen Test case of COVID-19, in
classes 67J and 8C. Peel Public Health and the Ministry no longer require the automatic
dismissal of the whole class and/or staff and/or close contacts. We are asking that you diligently
monitor your child’s symptoms using the Ontario School Screener.

Only the student and/or staff member that is positive and/or has symptoms is required to self-
isolate, along with household members who are unvaccinated and/or symptomatic.

Asymptomatic, fully vaccinated members of the household are not required to isolate; however,
they are required to wear a mask at school.

Please let the school know if there is anything we can do to support you or if you have any
questions or concerns.
