Day 5: Idrisid Name no.

Trans.

O Alive in the moment before all life within the durationlessness of His/Its Sovereignty and His/Its
[eternal] Subsistence!

Translit.

yā ḥayyu ḥīna lā ḥayya fī daymūmīyati mulkihi wa baqā'ihi

Arabic

. ‫ي فِي َد ْي ُمو َم ِة ُمل ِك ِه و َبقاِِئه‬


َّ ‫يا َح ُّي ِحينَ ال َح‬

Usages

i. For general healing

ii. For blessings in the elevation of social standing

iii. To receive protection and safety from Above

iv. To thwart pestilences and diseases of an unknown nature (* I have successfully been using this Name
and other dhikrs during the whole covid pandemic with success).

The more reputable and reliable commentaries do not mention how many times it is to be recited. I
always recite it 18x in one sitting to the numerical value of ḥayy (alive/living, ‫)ح ّي‬.
Day 6: Idrisid Name no.6

Trans.

O Peerless Self-Subsistent, for nothing shall extinguish His/Its knowledge nor shall weariness overcome
Him/It!

Translit.

yā qayyūm fa-lā yafūt shay'un Ꜥilmihi wa lā yawuduh

Arabic

‫َي ٌء ِع ْل ِم ِه وال َيُؤدُه‬


ْ ‫يا قَيُّو ُم فَال يَفُ ُوت ش‬

Usages

i. For the identity of a thief to be revealed in a dream

ii. For acquiring wisdom of the Unseen and to acquire the ability to mind read

iii. For immunity against robbery

iv. Against hardness of heart.

To be recited 1000x.
Day 7: Idrisid Name no.7

Trans.

O Single/One, the [eternally] Subsistent, the First among all things and the Last!

Translit.

yā wāḥidu'l-bāqī awwala kulla shay'in wa ākhiruhu

Arabic

ْ ‫يا وا ِح ُد ْالباقِي َأ َّو َل ُك َّل ش‬


ُ‫َي ٍء َوآ ِخ َره‬

Usages

i. Against vermin or pests

ii. To nullify and/or push back against black magic and sorcery

iii. To transform sadness and sorrow and make enemies into friends

iv. To gain security from the assaults of rulers and the fear of them

v. For calming the mind of someone possessed and/or to nullify the influence of evil whisperings and the
evil whisperer (waswasa).

Comment: This one is especially efficacious dealing with depression, depressive thoughts, temporary
mania and melancholia in general.

To be recited 1000x, 19x or continuously until depression, depressive thoughts, temporary mania and
melancholia dissipates.
Day 8. Idrisid Name no.8

Trans.

O Perpetual without annihilation nor ephemerality [occurring] to His/Its Sovereignty!

Translit.

yā dāʾim bi-lā fanā'in wa lā zawāli li-mulkihi

Arabic

ٍ ‫يا دَاِئ ُم بِال فَنا ٍء و ال ز‬


‫َوال ِل ُملِ ِكه‬

Usages

i. For prolonging a ruler's reign and making them immune from the attacks of their enemies

ii. For perseverance and firmness in action.

No prescribed number is given in most of the reliable MSS regarding how many times to recite this one.
Day 9. Idrisid Name no.9

Trans.

O Everlasting without a similar/familiar, for nothing is like unto Him/It!

Translit.

yā ṣamadu min ghayr shabīhin wa lā shay'a ka-mithlihi

Arabic

‫َي َء ك ِم ْثلِ ِه‬ ْ ‫ص َم ُد‬


ْ ‫ِمن َغي ِْر َشبِي ٍه وال ش‬ َ ‫يا‬

Usages

i. To nullify animosity between couples, lovers, husbands and wives

ii. To curb excessive sexual desire, gluttony and desire for eating what is forbidden.

To be recited 1000x.

Comment: I prescribed this Name some years ago for an individual with a porn addiction. After 1 week
of reciting it 1000x a day, it worked and the individual in question, so far as I know, has not looked back.

Day 10. Idrisid Name no.10


Trans.

O Originator [of being/existence], for nothing is His/Its equal and no locus can describe Him/It!

Translit.

yā bārīʾu fa-lā shay'a kafū'ahu wa lā makān li-waṣifih

Arabic

ِ ‫َي َء ُك ْفَؤ هُ َوال َم َكانَ لِ َو‬


. ‫صفِه‬ ْ ‫بارُئ فَال ش‬
ِ ‫يا‬

Usages

i. For summoning the spirits and guardian protectors (muwwakilun) of this Name

ii. To bind the tongues and mouths of a group of people.

To be recited 1000x.

Comment: This is a good one against gossip-mongers, online trolls and public defamers of various
shades.
