PART OF SPEECH

VERB
A verb is a word that shows an action or being. It is the most important part of the sentence. There are
two parts to a verb.

1) Main Verb
The main verb and helping verb. the main verb is the main action or state of being in the sentence.
This gives the major information in terms of the nature of an action. For example:
Eat, obey, command, give etc.
For example:
Allah commands gabriel to send his revealation.

2) Helping Verb
The helpingverbs help the meain verb express tenses or times. the helping verbs consists of; are, is,
am. was, were, do, does, did, have, has, had, and modal.
Helping verbs:
Am Is Are Was
Were Being Been Be
Has Have Had Did
Shall Will Should Would
May Might Must Can
Could Does Do

For example:
You do not live in Frence

Transitiv verb is a verb needs direct object. The object of this sentence used transitive verb used as the
object of the action.

1) Intransitive verb
Intransitiv verb is a verb does not need direct object. Because the meaning of the sentence can be
understood without object.

Islam is world religion, a rational religion. It is not a religion of ceremonies and scrifices. It is even a
religion of merit born out of faith. Islam is a religio-ideology, It invite us to live togther in sociallife.
a system of life which is at the same time universal and eternal, a living force, dynamic, and creative,
a code which is suitable and parallel with the characters of natureand it is a code covering all human
aspects. Every difference, if there is any, it is caused by misinterpretation. Islam means surrender to
the Will of Allah and to His injunctions, a religion of peace and goodwill. Allah is called As-Salam
and the peace of pious, honest people afte death is Dar-us-salam, namely peaceful place, and Muslims
are greeting each other with Assalamu’alaikum, peace be on you. Every Muslim has to long for
progress controlled by honesty and enlightened by divine guidance.
