Target Recipients of the EIC:

The target recipients of this campaign are the parents and children in our school and community.

Rationale:

Majority of violence against women and children is perpetrated by partners, family members,
friends, or acquaintances, so that most violence against women and children takes place in the form of
intimate partner violence, family violence, or school violence (WHO and LSHTM, 2010). In consonance
with this, our district chose this issue to deepen the widespread of information to the parents and children
in our community. The mentioned matter is very pompous particularly this time of pandemic wherein
majority of women and children have limited access and movement. By having this, they can be more
educated and it will enlightened their minds about the law that protect them whenever they will became
a victim of abuse and harassment. This will serve as an eye – opener for them to speak out and be aware
of their rights.

Objectives:
 1. To activate awareness among parents especially women and children about the law that protect
them
2. To inform the community on the prevention of violence against women and children
3. To promote a VAWC free community
