1. Meeting is open at 8 am; however, for defenses scheduled aside from this 8 am schedule (e.g., 1 pm for instances of multiple professors per day ), log-in an hour before your scheduled defense. 2. Ensure that the internet in your area is strong; at the same time, inform others who are using your connection to temporarily stop using it while you are presenting to ensure a stable and fast connection. 3. Ensure that there are no scheduled power interruptions in your area 4. Your power cord should be readily available if your device runs out of power. 5. Wear your headsets all the time while the defense is ongoing to ensure that everyone will hear you. 6. Ensure that your area is free from annoying noises and that there are no other devices connected with the internet near your device that might produce feedback. 7. A hard copy of your submitted manuscript should be with you because we will be referring to it during the proceedings. 8. Wear corporate attire or your DepEd/School uniform. 9. Prepare a 3-minute (MED Action Research)/10-minute (Dissertation) presentation ONLY. DEDUCTIONS on your presentation score shall be applied per minute of extension. 10.Normally, the defense starts between the 8am to 9 am time ranges, do not waste time waiting for it to start by not doing anything. Instead, use this time to review your research or practice share and stop sharing the PowerPoint presentations with your advisers.
