2. The group of teachers who were present was divided according to the SHS subject group that
they taught and were assigned to present and analyze the report on Mean Percentage Scores
and Least Learned competencies of the students who got Fairly Satisfactory grades.
After their break-out discussions, the following observations were presented:
a. Some students who got Fairly Satisfactory grades were observed to lack the
motivation to do their module tasks.
b. Some students who got Fairly Satisfactory grades were observed to lack instructional
guidance due to economic constraints and disadvantageous parental academic background.
c. Most of the students who got Fairly Satisfactory grades were observed to lack mastery
in the basic macro skills, especially in Reading, Writing, and Numeracy.
3. It was agreed during the session that a discussion with the administrators and curriculum
heads and master teachers must be conducted to present the findings of the teachers on the
data on students with fairly satisfactory grades, the mean percentage scores, and the least
learned competencies. Furthermore, it was suggested that the Enrichment Program to be
conducted by the school must focus on the mastery of the basic skills in Reading, Writing, and
Numeracy integrating all the curriculum teaching areas in their instruction.
