Your Classroom

This project was even longer than I thought, and I thought the one before was long too.
I never realized how much work it would take when starting with a blank canvas. There
were so many different combinations you could come up with that would seat yourself
and 20 other students. The tools I used were very helpful in dividing the classroom as
evenly as possible. I decided to group the students' desks by six, and I divided the
rectangles up evenly to make sure there was room for the other desks. Thankfully, I
could duplicate it instead of free-handing the desks and most likely not coming out
even.

Standard 1.4.a: Students know and use a deliberate design process for generating
ideas, testing theories, creating innovative artifacts or solving authentic problems.

This project could be helpful to teach students about organization and how to use their
imagination to figure out how they could interiorly decorate any room in particular. It
can help them see things in a different way and problem solve their way into fixing a
cluttered room or poorly designed room.
