BAD COMMUNICATION SKILLS

SCENE #1
(It starts with LINA had a big fight with her friends and her
mom, SUBASHINI, got called to meet up with her homeroom
teacher, WAWA.)

Setting: Teacher’s Room.

Character(s): Subashini as The Mom.
Wawa as The Homeroom Teacher.
Lina as The Trouble Maker.
Raihan as Discipline Teacher.

DIALOG:

In the Teacher’s Room, where’s LINA got dragged by her

discipline’s teacher, RAIHAN. While they are waiting for her
mom, SUBASHINI, to arrive, her homeroom teacher, WAWA,
ask her a few questions.

WAWA: “Lina, I heard you had a fight with your friends

earlier?” *looking at Lina with a calm expression*
LINA: *annoyed face* “So what? They are the one who pick
up the fight with me first.”
WAWA: “And it doesn’t mean you have to bicker with them.”
*sighing*
LINA: “Who ask them to fight with me. I need to stand up for
myself.”
WAWA: “That’s from your point of view but from what I’ve
heard its different.”
SUBASHINI went into the room without knocking the door
and immediately sat down beside LINA.
SUBASHINI: Lina, my dear, are you okay? Did you get hurt
somewhere? *turned to Wawa and bang her left hand on
the desk with a mad expression* “How did this happened?!
What if my daughter got hurt?! Will you compensate her
medical bills?!” *raised her voice higher*
WAWA: “Please calm down Mrs Subashini. First, let’s listen
to Miss Raihan’s-.”
SUBASHINI: *interrupt her* “How can I calm down?! She’s
my daughter!”
WAWA: “First, let’s listen to Miss Raihan. She’s our discipline
teacher and she’s the one who caught Lina fighting with her
friends.” *look at Raihan and gestured her to explain
everything*.
RAIHAN: “Well I saw Lina bickering with her friends while I
was on my duty. I went to stop them and asked them what
happened. One of the students told me that they were
fighting because of a book. She told me that Lina borrowed
her book but she didn’t return it to her. So, she went to her
to ask about her book but Lina kept on being quiet and that’s
how they started to fight with each other.”
WAWA: “Well, Lina any explanation?” *look at Lina*
LINA: *annoyed face* “Whatever and I don’t care.”
WAWA: *raised her voice a bit* “Lina, I’m your teacher. So,
please respect me as your teacher.”
LINA: *rolled her eyes*
SUBASHINI: *stand up and pull Lina with her* “Lina. Let’s go
home. Staying here make me feel like want to throw up. It’s
so disgusting to have teachers like this. So, unprofessional.”
LINA: “I know right! Humph! Let’s go mom. I want to change
school. This school is so stupid.” *follow Suba out from the
room*
WAWA & RAIHAN: *shake their head while looking at those
two*
(THE END OF SCENE #1)

Conclusion: They got bad communication skills. The mother

doesn’t even listen to the discipline teacher’s explanation
and she also went mad at the homeroom teacher. Lina’s
behaviour towards her friends and teachers make it even
worst.
