If you are looking for a way to practice subitizing (seeing
numbers in different ways) then this is the perfect resource
for you!
 I made this for my Kindergarten Title Math group, but it
could also be used very easily in a general classroom of
Preschool, Kindergarten, or 1st grade, as well as any other
remedial/therapy program.
 You may use this for numbers 0-10.
 Pencils (regular or colored)work best for this project.
 Assign each student a number.
o You may want to focus on the same number you are
working on, or use different numbers as review or
remediation.
 Show the example page to your students or explain to
them where each type of number form goes on the
snowman.
 When students are done, you can encourage them to do
any or all of the following extras with their number as they
wait:
o Draw snowballs at the bottom of the picture.
o Draw snowflakes in the sky.
o Draw fingers on the snowman’s hand.
