TEACHING POINT ADJECTIVES AND COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES

ADJECTIVES. An adjective is a word to describe a noun or a pronoun, it also gives


extra information about it.
In English the adjectives are before the nouns.-

COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES.-Comparative adjectives is to compare one thing


with another.
How to form comparative adjectives:
1.- For adjectives with one sillable

1.Fast = rápido Faster than = Más rápido que
2.Slow= Lento Slower than = Más lento que
3.Wide= Amplio wider than = Más amplio que
4.Happy = Feliz happier than = Más felíz que
5.Hard= Duro harder than = Más duro que
6.High= Alto higher than = Más alto que
7.Big = grande bigger than = Más grande que
8.Heavy = pesado heavier than = Más pesado que
9. Strong = fuerte stronger than = Más fuerte que
10.weak = débil weaker than = Más débil que
