Comparative adjectives are used to compare differences between two nouns.
For example:

Meat is more expensive than chicken.

Fruit is healthier than chocolate.
Pizza is tastier than bread.
Hannah is taller than Jane.

COMMON STRUCTURE:

NOUN 1 + VERB + COMPARATIVE ADJ. + THAN + NOUN 2

Meat is more expensive than chicken.

Fruit is healthier than chocolate.

For three or four syllable adjectives use more + adjective to form the comparative. For example:

Intelligent → more intelligent

Expensive → more expensive
Beautiful → more beautiful

We also have irregular comparatives. They have one form as adjectives but a different form as
comparatives.
For example:

Good → better
Far → farther / further
Bad → worse
