Animal expert or not?
• We use comparative form to compare two people, animals or
things.
The adjectives in the comparative form is usually followed by
the word ‘than’.
COMPARATIVE ADJECTIVES
One-syllable word Adjectives which end

Adjectives which end in one vowel + one consonant
= double the consonant and add -er

Consonant letters: b c d f g h j k l m n p….

Adjectives ending with consonant ‘y’,
- Change ‘y’ to ‘i’ and add -er
