RE: AB2011 (Wicks): Affordable Housing and High Road Jobs Act of 2022 – SUSPEND

Dear Senator Portantino & Senate Appropriations Committee:

Along with the League of CA Cities, we urge you to delegate AB2011 to the Suspense file. The
bill undermines local zoning and makes a mockery of thoughtful execution of planning by mak-
ing most cities succumb to ministerial approval in areas zoned for offices, retail, or parking.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS In the fiscal analysis of AB2011 provided to the Assembly Appropriations Committee on May
2021-2022 18, 2022, Jennifer Swensen wrote in the Fiscal Effects section:
