In this part of my lesson plan, I started presenting the lesson through a game
which is also my motivation.

F. Developing Mastery
In this part of the lesson, I used a song that I know is very familiar to them and
I let them explore the song by using the SIFT METHOD. During my mentoring
sessions with Ma’am Sharon, she always point out that as teachers, we need to
be updated with what is happening around us as this can be used in the
development of our lessons. As a language teacher, it pays to be updated with
songs, celebrities or movies to connect with our learners.
