The student teacher relies heavily on ongoing assistance from the tutor teacher for support and

Performance: The student teacher relies on the tutor teacher for some support, but is moving
toward becoming more self-directed and independent in planning instruction, teaching, and
classroom
management.

Level B: Proficient Score: 1.5


Performance: The student teacher is usually able to teach without assistance from the tutor
teacher and easily applies what s/he has learned about teaching.

Level A: Accomplished Score 2


Performance: The student teacher is able to plan and implement effective instruction with
minimal input or assistance from the tutor teacher.

institutional tutor teacher.
